Mother Clelia Morning Star High School, a dynamic and growing special education high school located adjacent to the campus of Pensacola Catholic High School, is seeking a full-time high school special education teacher with an academic focus in mathematics who is dedicated to delivering quality instruction while helping students grow into disciples of Christ whose hearts and minds are focused on a love of God. Interested individuals will also be expected to strive for academic excellence and humble service to all. Applicants must hold a valid ESE Florida Teaching Certificate and must be able to pass all required fingerprinting and background checks as required by the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee and the State of Florida. Practicing Catholic educators are preferred, but this is not a requirement. A dedication and passion for teaching special needs students in a Christ -centered, nurturing environment is critical. This position may have an opportunity to convert to full time as our student body population grows into our new state-of-the-art classrooms and Life Skills Lab. As we end phase two of our development, we are highly motivated to begin development of our Phase 3 expansion over the next three years. It truly is an exciting time to be part of the Mother Clelia teaching team!
At our core, our love of Christ permeates the campus from the beginning of our day to the end.
Interested candidates should send any questions, or a cover letter and resume to Mary Lambeth at [email protected]. Please include a brief philosophy statement reflecting your thoughts on special needs education.
